These are the condensed voice recording notes of the experiences both in action and spirit message. All four members of the quest were present and involved in the conversation.
Voice notes 41 18th May 2025.
Discussion Notes from the discussion that we had at the time. I have not attributed comments to anyone specific, and I have omitted any personal information
This fella is quite heavy even though its small – weighty like a trunk
Dig like a scavenger dig deep into the heart right to the back of it
A lot of character – I see an old type blunderbuss very contoured – this side is more animal I see gonzo from the Muppets,
This relates to a piece of wood I picked up when darryl and I first visited the tree.
Stone
Platypus feet then came to dinosaur foot – 2 faces that need to come to the light – together on earth together in here to the light
Alf – no feelings its important but don’t know why – didn’t like the puppets
(Alf is an alien from another planets in a TV sitcom style tv series of this name 1984)
Onto the stone
Back end is halved inside i see the head of a Māori side profile from easter island perhaps a slight devil looking face no sense of anything from it
Discussion follows on what we had experienced the previous evening on 17th May
Both pieces came from the center of the geometrical design that is the overlay, that we looked at the other night
We had been looking at the modern ordnance survey map and trying to overlay the Andrew Collins and Dave Hunt Map from the back of the book The Running Well.
We ended up at Rettendon last night and the tree we thought isn’t in the church it’s in a field and in this field is a Bull in the field, but the field looked empty and then we saw the Bull – there was two we only saw one to start with and then we went back into the churchyard and we split up Darryl sat and had a think and I had a wonder and we ended up in the car. I’m thinking we aren’t done yet and on the right there’s a farm – private property farm and I’m looking and through the gate I can see a tree and in the tree I can see a skull and I’m thinking, I think it’s that one, I don’t feel it there I feel it there, but it’s not a tree it just looked like a hedgerow from where we were sitting
7.32 – time stamp on recording
The tree was there but it wasn’t there it didn’t look right, so anyway as we were talking a man drove into the farm and i waved to him – and he came back out so I had a word with the man, so he came out and i asked if the farmer was there – it was his dad, i sent him a message to see if he’ll have a word with you and literally within seconds it was done wasn’t it he was on the phone
Really weird tale but I need to get to that tree – what the tree that fallen down and i was like not sure because I didn’t see the tree that had fallen down just the big tree at the back, so he let us onto the field which is full of cows heifers – the first thig we saw was a pill box on the opposite side of the field – cow field – cow shit
Andy Collins book had talked about this tree and we had ended up in rettendon so we had a look and in the book Andy Collins talks about a psychic called Katie that had picked up on a necklace in this tree – we walk across the field and the tree came down 19yrs ago and that’s when it fell down. Covered in Blackberry bushes on farmers land so I spoke to the farmer
Is there a fence a barbed wire fence with dried grass and something to do with ley lines crossing I’m literally standing and on this side is just dried earth barbed wire fence but its hidden – the trunk of the tree is literally evil in it
You can’t get near it – there’s something protecting it – Darryl picked that up
11.54 time stamp on voice recording
He was the one talking about rettendon to start with and we ended up having a look
Theres something being protected – we need to appease
It got plenty of blood didn’t it
It took blood from both of us
Now I’ve cleared an entire blackberry bush and didnt get a scratch, but this is nasty
We need to converse with the Fae before we begin
It’s an Imp – but you are aware of them
I’m aware of them
Not like Colin – I saw colin there it didn’t feel relevant to the quest
Side note – Colin is one of the Spirit Fae Guides that we work with
I’m damn certain that what we’ve found is the tree
Then that’s how it comes in I’m a scavenger and you need to dig deep with the claw
Not sure where the Muppets come in – yeah but look at how they appear
Where do you think he got those images in his head to make them appear to make those characters even when you look at dark – yeah, it’s the beak – I saw it as a beak like the witch finder general
Yeah, it looks its the classic witch – get something different from it but that’s it a claw
Went home phone call from the farmer – did you find what you’re looking for – explained the blackberry situ and asked if he would be open to us working on the trunk
The trunk isn’t that high and the trunk is laid down in the field and the bit i need to get too is under the blackberries so we can go and we can cut away

We created the geometrical design that they created, and a guy called Dave Hunt when they were looking at the sacred geometry so this is the Runwell cross as they found on today’s map – on here this is Andy Collins version – so we’re pretty damn close there circle is off center on here
19.32 time stamp on the voice recording
On the map – rettendon is here and we worked out where the tree is – the field is called Orchard field – there another one called Curry Hill
Which is weird as you pulled out a curry plant that was planted today
Bang in the middle of the map is the tree
Which is weird because right at the beginning of this I said Rettendon is important and we had a whole discussion and went on a sidetrack about the gangland lane and it wasn’t that it was all around here.
That’s right by the turn pike – and toll roads have been a thing
These new maps haven’t got the ponds, went back to 18th century but it’s hard to look
Looking at maps
Theres a leyline that runs from right here through to st peters on the wall
The field that I’m standing on is right in the center of the leylines in my mind’s eye
24.39
My focus is all on the tree, but you have a look at the area
All down to Darryl – remove the brambles
When you were looking down that way in the car – you saw the skull tree and where that skull tree that tree was laying straight in front of it – all I could see is the skull looking down
26.15 time stamp on voice recording
The tree snapped off and all hollow inside
No disrespect but you’re not a clearer of the ground you are a writer – everyone feels like they are not doing anything – we must not compare our gifts to each other we are four equals – we all have unique gifts – you are learning to explore the box
What you did with the book, the maps

Bazille Corbin
Is the rector from Runwell St Mary’s which is where a lot of the runwell folklore comes from – the runwell cross is an inscription on a tomb within St Mary’s Church.
James that name sounds familiar – nah your thinking of James Cordin
John Edward Bazille Corbin – he died when I was born 1964
32.20 time stamp on voice recording
Talk about Aura photography – talk about experiences
Talk about where they’ve been in the world – travel
All Saints Church at Rettendon
Richard’s voice notes to research the history of the Church and area; what he discovered is in a separate document.
Mary of All Saints – talk of Marlene’s mum – very catholic
Pill box in rettendon is overgrown
The relevancy of this brings into the World War thread that came from Seargent EA Robinson that was relevant at St Mary’s Church in Runwell. We are all aware that ground defenses in world war are very common in the landscape, especially in Essex due to the proximity of London and the Thames Estuary. It is not surprising to see remnants, especially pillboxes. However, this was something we were aware of both validation from spirit and the information we were coming across, so we just paid attention to the sign.
7 cows in the field
7 is the number of alignment. The Cow’s spiritual meaning is all about providing everything you could need to sustain you. It reminds us that lessons need to be digested in all four elements before anything can be produced. They are a sacred animal to many cultures and deeply connected to the earth. It’s a symbol of slowing down and allowing the process to unfold and they are linked with Divinity and Spiritual connection.
Random that we ended up at Rettendon but on the Thursday we had been doing the map – I asked if he was drawn to it like he was at St Margs and he said he just wanted to go and have a look at it – so we did
St Margarets of Bowers Gifford
And he doesn’t think he’s psychic – we all are; it’s just opening and learning to understand what you are connecting with.
41.44 – time stamp on voice recording
We are spirit in a body and we have forgotten that – all you’re doing now is answering that calling putting bit by bit together until you get to the whole picture and then comes another puzzle and another puzzle until you put yourself back together and being who you came here to be – your more authentic self – and it’s a journey
That’s the hardest concept it doesn’t matter how spiritually aware you are what you’re being told to do is a continuous evolution of yourself continually exploring new aspects of yourself continually growing and within that we are all novices
43.33 –
Epona – Bradwell there was a church called Ethona it just reminded me of the name
Ethona is a Christian based community that was founded in 1946 for prisoners of war for the purpose of peace. The St Peters in Bradwell visit seemed to be of a more personal spiritual understanding place we visited along the journey of the quest.
Rettendon will need to be planned
Moving onto to today
D – pheasant – there was one at the farm – I see it and then I didn’t see it
Pheasants symbolise renewal, success and hope amongst change
National Treasure – is a film – Ghost rider – Face off – City of Angels
This came about following a discussion on the maps and the joke was to get a scroll/map holder like the one the character in National Treasure carries the Declaration of Independence in. Richard proceeded to purchase one and considering the journey that unfolded since that time regarding the Washington Window in Maldon All Saints and where that has led onto, this now feels very relevant.
